Brewing Tips:

  • The teas may be served hot or cold
  • The herbal teas can be re-infused 2 to 3 times before discarding.
  • The blends are best enjoyed unsweetened, but can be flavoured with preferably manuka honey to enhance the natural flavours of the herbs.
  • It is important to use a glass, porcelain, or glazed earthenware cup/mug for brewing as some metals can react with the herbs.

LOOKING AFTER AND STORING YOUR TEA

Herbal teas are made from natural plant materials and are vulnerable to air, light, humidity and temperature. An ideal location to store a box of Tea Amo tea is in a dry pantry, cupboard or closet, with a storage temperature of 18-22 degrees celcius.

USE BY DATES

All herbs and spices have a relatively fixed shelf life. The best guideline to follow is to follow the best before date on Tea Amo packaging but in general products should be used by 12 months for spices and leafy herbs, and 16 months for roots, barks and berries.
